  1. By re-sharing your past content on social media. There are a variety of resources – like Buffer and CoSchedule – which allow you to schedule the sharing of your old blog content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest on a future date. These resources equip you to share and re-share your blog content on social media, with just a little bit of work and preparation! By using these resources, the content you’ve written – whether a long time ago or a short time ago – can live on, on social media. Pinterest is another great place to allow old content to continue to flourish. Create pin-able graphics for your blog posts, and then use Tailwind to share and re-share your pins.
  2. By re-sharing past content in your newsletter. Your newsletter is another great place to re-share your past blog content. You can review your top blog posts from the previous month, or simply share old blog posts relevant to your newsletter topic. Whichever path you choose, your newsletter is an awesome place to repurpose your old content and to serve your audience well. (This is especially true if you’ve written evergreen blog content!)
  3. By creating a blog design rooted in future exploration. Your blog design can also allow old content to be repurposed or shared in fresh, new ways. Maybe you have a “related posts” WordPress plugin which allows past blog posts to be showcased at the end of every blog post. Maybe your blog design showcases top posts, recent posts, or trending posts. Your design can highlight old posts in fresh, new ways — encouraging and equipping your visitors to explore your content more seamlessly than ever before.
  4. By creating a podcast episode about each blog post. We love using past blog posts as the foundation for our podcast episodes. If you’ve been creating evergreen blog content — content relevant today and in the future — then using your blog posts as the foundation for podcast episode topics can be a really seamless way to repurpose your old blog posts.
